Wilton Decorating Basics

Wednesdays, beginning February 8th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Start decorating
amazing birthday, holiday, and party cakes right now. You will be guided
through every step: baking, icing, flower-making, and borders. You will
learn the star and shell techniques, shaggy mums, rosettes, drop flowers,
leaves, and more. You can do it!
Four 2-hour

Saturdays, beginning February 11th, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Add to your
Decorating Basics Course skills—create breathtaking icing flower
arrangements to enhance any cake. You will be guided through every step and
learn the Wilton rose, lilies, rosebuds, pansies, violets, apple blossoms,
primroses, button flowers, and daffodils. You can do it!

Wilton Advanced Gum Paste Flowers - Course 4

Mondays, beginning February 6th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Discover one of the most
breath-taking ways to decorate a cake—with
lifelike gum paste flowers. You will be guided every step of the way as you
create amazing hand-shaped flowers, including the gerbera daisy, sweet pea,
briar rose, stargazer lily, and stephanotis, and ivy leaves. Wilton Gum
Paste and Fondant Course 3 or gum paste flower experience is required.

Wilton
Tall Cakes Project Class
Friday, February 10th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Tall cakes are
popping up everywhere! In this 3-hour project class you will learn the steps
and techniques to create “tall cakes” that will stand up straight. During
this 3-hour class, you will assemble and decorate your special creation. In
addition to creating multi-layer cakes, you will receive valuable tips for
serving, transporting, and storing your masterpiece.
One 3-hour

Fun Fondant Cupcakes for Kids
Friday, February 24th, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Children 8-14 will learn
the "fun-damentals" of fondant, including how to handle and store fondant,
rolling fondant and cutout techniques to create fun fondant flowers to
decorate their cupcakes.

Decorating Basics Course skills—learn to cover cakes in fondant and create
spectacular accents and hand-shaped flowers using easy-to-shape fondant and
gum paste. You’ll learn to create flowers with amazing detail and add
beautiful accents such as eyelet, ruffle, and ball borders and a bow cake
topper. You will be guided through every step to create calla lilies,
carnations, daisies, roses, mums, and more. You can do it!

Wilton Super Cakes for Kids
Friday, March 30th, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Children 8-14
will learn the "fun-damentals" of cake decorating, including how to ice a
cake, color icing, and use bags and tips for decorations. Students will
learn techniques to decorate an 8-inch round cake or a giant cookie with
colorful balloons.
One

Cake 201
Tuesday, February 21st, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Learn
intermediate cake decorating techniques in this hands-on 3-hour workshop.
You will learn the following techniques and practice them in class: fluted
shell, reverse shell, and rope borders, the rose, basketweave, rosebuds,
drop flowers, and writing.
One
3-hour class, $39 plus supplies. Estimated cost of supplies is approximately

Icing Flowers
Saturdays, beginning March 10th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
In these two 3-hour classes you will learn how to create
beautiful icing flowers that will add that special “wow” to your cakes.
Using buttercream and royal icings, cake decorating bags, tips, and a flower
nail you will learn to create beautiful icing flowers, including the rose,
daffodil, lily, sweet pea, daisy, pansy, and many, many more.
Two 3-hour classes, $59 plus
supplies. Estimated cost of supplies is approximately $25.

Wedding Cake
Workshop
Saturdays, beginning April
7th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
In this class you will
learn
invaluable tips and step-by-step techniques to help you construct a
beautiful fondant-covered, tiered wedding cake. Practice the fundamentals of
cake decorating by learning to prepare a cake for decorating, cover a cake
with fondant icing, create simple flower decorations using royal icing,
fondant, and gum paste.
Three 2-hour classes, $79 plus supplies. Estimated cost of additional
supplies is approximately $40.
